With the success of the GEN 2 8685, it was about time to implement all the success of our Next GEN technology into one of our favorite turbochargers in the lineup. Officially introducing our 1800hp capable 8685 Next GEN.
The 8685 Next Gen brings a new 7x7 CEA (Competition Engineered Aerodynamics) technology compressor wheel machined from a 2618-aluminum closed die forging for strength and optimized airflow and an all-new compressor cover design with flow enhancements and advanced machining techniques, providing 15% more airflow and greater efficiency at higher pressure ratios.
