This unit features twin rectifiers with (12) massive press fit diodes, as compared to the small (8) diode rectifier in the stock alternator. Even mild performance builds will typically consume more amperage than what the stock Supra alternator can provide. Hairpin stator technology provides better high RPM durability, and better resistance to heat from the turbo manifold.
